Kawartha Arts Festival 2021 is cancelled but…..
As you have probably heard, the Kawartha Arts Festival has been cancelled for 2021, due to a number of factors.
But we haven’t forgotten about you, and in an effort to continue supporting you and the wonderful art that you create, we are hoping to run an online (Facebook) auction for the month of August. Want to know more? Click here.
Board Members Wanted
The KAF has been a beloved institution for over 30 years now and we want it to continue.
In the past 10 months, we have been saddened and diminished by the passing of three valued members of our team. The gap they leave is deep and wide, and the future of the 2021 Festival was in doubt even before it became apparent that ongoing pandemic safety protocols would prohibit the kind of gatherings to which we are accustomed at the Festival.
In order to come back strong with Kawartha Arts Festival 2022, we need an injection of new people, new ideas and lots of vim and vigour. Our 100+ artists depend on events like this for their livelihood, and we can’t let them down. To read our full letter and whether it is a fit for you, click here.

Did you know?
The Kawartha Arts Festival was first held in 1989 and started off as a small collection of artists gathering together to give something back to the local arts community. It has since grown into one of the largest art festivals in Southern Ontario and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
The Kawartha Art Festival is a non-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers. It is kept going by the generous donations given each year by the show’s patrons, and we would like to thank each and every one of you to keep the Art Festival growing more unique each year.
