We know that Labour Day seems a far way off, but we regret to inform you that Kawartha Arts Festival has been cancelled for 2020 because of the COVID19 crisis.

A lot of work goes into the planning and execution of this wonderful event and we don’t want you, volunteers or visitors to risk picking up the virus since keeping the 6 foot distance will be impossible.

We have lots of new ideas, and plans for our 2021 Art festival are already buzzing in our heads, so please stay in touch and we will have our website ready for next festival beginning of next year.

If you follow us on Facebook, tag us with your creations and we will be happy to share and our website continues to help promote the artists that have been part of the show in the past.

Did you know?

The Kawartha Arts Festival was first held in 1989 and started off as a small collection of artists gathering together to give something back to the local arts community. It has since grown into one of the largest art festivals in Southern Ontario and attracts thousands of visitors each year.

The Kawartha Art Festival is a non-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers. It is kept going by the generous donations given each year by the show’s patrons, and we would like to thank each and every one of you to keep the Art Festival growing more unique each year.
